PVC Insulated Earth Cable

Earthing Cable is composed of Y/G PVC sheathed and copper stranded wires, it is suitable for laying at the fixed places, widely used in connecting of power device, lighting, daily electrical appliance, instrument etc. with AC rated voltage up to and including 450/750V(U0/U), for a common return path for electric current, or a direct physical connection to the earth.

The product implement the standards GB/T5023, equivalent to IEC60 227. And it can also be made complying with ASTM, DIN, BS standards etc. In addition, we can design and manufacture the products as t he requirements of customers.

Conductors:  Class2 of plain annealed stranded copper  

Insulation:  Polyvinyl chloride PVC

Colour of Sheath:  Yellow/Green

Voltage Rating (Uo/U)  450/750V      Test Voltage  2.5kV for 5 minutes

Physical Properties

Maximal operating conductor Temperature: up to 70℃（PVC insulation); up to 90℃(XLPE insulation)

Operating Temperature Range: -5℃（PVC or LSZH sheath); -20℃（PE sheath)

Short Circuit Temperature(5 seconds maximum duration): 140℃-160℃（PVC insulation);250℃（XLPE insulation)
