Applications
Welding cable is designed for use in electric arc-welding machines, extremely durable and flexible. A high strand count and rubber insulation help increase the cable's flexibility. Welding cables used on board, on deck or in an engine room, are exposed to rough weather, oil and mechanical wear. Specially suitable for application in:
● Secondary voltage resistance welding leads
● Power supply applications not exceeding 600Volt AC
● On board, on deck or in an engine room, are exposed to rough weather, resistant oil and mechanical wear
● For permanent wiring in conduit or tray of 600V power supplies, hoists, cranes or other applications where flexible power leads must be installed in conduit, raceways or trays.
● For entertainment or stage lighting cables, lighting and sound systems, and communication vans, battery cables for cars, inverter cables.

Welding Cable
Welding cable is the electrical conductor for the welding current. It consists of a series of fine copper strands wrapped inside a non-conductive, durable jacket (typically some type of synthetic or natural rubber of various colors). The fine copper strands give welding cable more flexibility than other types of electrical conductors and the insulating jacket is designed to hold up to repeated movement over rough surfaces. As the current level increases (measured in amperage or amps), the diameter of the welding cable and resulting cross sectional area of the copper stranding needs to increase. These cables retain their high flexibility also under the influence of ozone, light, oxygen, protective gases, oils and gasoline. Due to their robust construction, they are also resistant to cold, same as to heat and fire. Suitable for outdoor use, but also in dry and damp conditions.
